2022 Cadillac XT6

You can choose from three trim levels on the Cadillac XT6: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. As the name suggests, the base trim of this upscale vehicle feels anything but basic. It provides roof rails, a large grille, door handles, and window trim, all in an attention-grabbing Galvano finish. On the Luxury trim, 18-inch alloy wheels with Bright Silver finish come standard. The Premium Luxury trim sizes up to 20-inch alloy wheels with a Polished Android finish, while Sport models have 20-inch Diamond-Cut alloy wheels with Dark Android satin finish pockets. Other additions to the Sport trim include tinted tail lamp lenses and shiny black exterior accents.

The standard engine on the Luxury trim of the Cadillac XT6 is a 2-liter Turbo 4-cylinder engine with a 9-speed automatic transmission. A capable engine for a luxury vehicle, it gets 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The higher trims replace this engine with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. With the larger engine, the power rises to 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque.

While it might not look like an athletic vehicle, you can outfit the 2022 Cadillac XT6 to tow heavy leads like more rugged SUVs. The Luxury trim is capable of towing 1,000 pounds, while Premium Luxury and Sport models with the 3.6-liter engine are eligible for the Smart Towing trailering system. This system equips them to tow up to 4,000 pounds. The Luxury and Premium Luxury trims come with front-wheel drive, but you can upgrade them to all-wheel drive for a fee. The Sport Trim comes equipped with all-wheel drive.

The Luxury trim once again lives up to its namesake on the inside. Standard features include automatic climate control with three zones, heated front seats, a sunroof, and an 8-way adjustable driver's seat. Additional luxuries come with the Premium Luxury trim, including a heated steering wheel, exotic wood accents, and available upgrades to second-row captain's chairs. For the most comfort, opt for the Sport trim, which comes with carbon-fiber details and leather seats in the front two rows. An 8-inch touch screen comes standard with eight speakers, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. You can add navigation and six extra speakers to the Premium Luxury and Sport trims. All 2022 Cadillac XT6 vehicles seat up to seven passengers unless you opt for captain's chairs.

A host of safety features come standard on all 2022 Cadillac XT6 vehicles, including a high-definition rear camera that provides extra visibility when you're reversing or parking and a Teen Driver mode that allows parents to monitor and control new drivers' behavior behind the wheel. Other standard safety features include automatic emergency braking, rear seat reminder, lane departure warnings, high-beam assist, safety alert seat, and forward collision alert. The Luxury Premium and Sport trims add rain-sensing wipers, and you can add optional night vision.
