Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 Chevy Trax

1. LS

Every trim level of the 2025 Trax features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, and a six-speed automatic transmission sends the power to the front wheels. There’s seating for up to five, 25.6 cubic feet of dedicated cargo space, and 54 cubes when you fold down the rear seats. The StabiliTrak system with Traction Control automatically adjusts the brakes and engine torque, helping you maintain control in slippery situations.

The base LS trim’s impressive list of standard features includes Active Noise Cancellation for a quiet ride, knee bolsters for the front seats, Chevy Safety Assist, and a driver-facing 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration.

2. 1RS

The 1RS trim sets itself apart with special exterior styling that includes black bowtie emblems and a red RS badge on the front and rear, and a black grille insert. The power adjustable outside mirrors from the LS are upgraded with heat and high-gloss black caps, and the 17-inch steel wheels swap for 18-inch black-painted aluminum wheels. Inside, the driver and front passenger will enjoy standard heated seats, and the remote start feature adds extra convenience.

3. LT

The LT trim features its own exclusive styling with an LT badge, silver-painted front and rear lower fascias, and signature LED daytime running lamps. A six-speaker audio system replaces the standard four-speaker version in the LS and 1RS. The 3.5-inch driver information center upgrades to a reconfigurable 8.0-inch display, and an 11.0-inch HD infotainment touchscreen becomes standard.

4. 2RS

The 2RS features the same styling as the 1RS, but adds 19-inch wheels and the same black roof-mounted side rails that come on the LT. An eight-way power adjustable driver seat with two-way lumbar support become standard inside, along with a heated steering wheel and a map pocket for the front passenger seatback.

5. ACTIV

The range-topping ACTIV trim shares most of the same upgraded features with the 2RS, but is styled with a body-colored grille insert, black bowtie emblems, an ACTIV badge on the rear, and titanium accented roof-mounted side rails.
