Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500

Pro

The base trim delivers an 8-speed automatic transmission and TurboMax engine with 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Notable features include a colored GMC infotainment screen, remote keyless entry, an HD backup camera, and Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities. The Pro trim also includes a spare all-season tire in case of an unexpected flat.

SLE

The SLE upgrades to a 10-way power driver’s seat, LED lighting in the cargo bed, chrome mirror caps, heated power mirrors on the exterior, and an easy-lift assist system integrated into the tailgate. GMC also rolls in their trailering package, dual-zone climate control, and heated seats into this trim.

Elevation

Elevation says goodbye to 17-inch tires and hello to 20-inch tires paired with 20-inch high-gloss black-painted aluminum wheels. Other features include LED fog lamps, rear window defogger, black vertical recovery hooks, and high-capacity suspension for better off-roading.

SLT

The engine in the SLT trim advances to a 5.3L V8 engine with 10-speed automatic transmission. Changes also include chrome accents on the exterior, 10-way power front seats and 12-way power passenger seat, a GMC MultiPro tailgate, and heated power-folding exterior mirrors. The trim also introduces perimeter lighting, rain-sensing wipers, leather-appointed seat trim, and an auto-dimming review mirror.

AT4

The Sierra 1500 AT4 kisses the 5.3L V8 engine to the curb, trading it for a powerful 3.0L Duramax Turbo Diesel engine. The 10-speed automatic transmission includes an Electronic Precision Shift with Driver Shift Control, Tow-Haul Mode, Powertrain Grade Braking, and Cruise Grade Braking. The trim also offers adaptive cruise control, front & park rear assist, and an HD surround camera.

The AT4 trim level is ideal for those who frequently use a trailer due to standard features like Hitch-View, In-Vehicle Trailering App, and Inside/Rear Trailer Camera Input.

Denali

Some of the biggest changes with the Denali trim are the addition of full-length assist steps, a bed view camera, and an improved automatic emergency braking system.

AT4X

The turbo diesel-engined AT4X delivers a Bluetooth-enabled MultiPro Audio System, a 12-speaker system, a power sunroof, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. GMC also adds premium front and rear floor liners, a rear camera mirror, and full-grain leather front seat trim.

Denali Ultimate

The Denali Ultimate is the last trim of the new Sierra 1500. It’s set with a 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine, 22-inch all-season tires, wheel locks, and Super Cruise driver assistance technology.
