Trim Levels of the 2023 Chevy Malibu

LS

Every Malibu trim comes with a four-cylinder 160-horsepower engine and continuously variable automatic transmission. You’ll get up to 35 highway miles per gallon with this economical sedan. The base model is packed with modern tech like an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, a wireless hot spot, Bluetooth, a USB port, and a six-speaker stereo.

Standard driver assistance features for the Malibu include auto high beams, lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, pedestrian detection, forward auto emergency braking with collision warning, Buckle to Drive tech, a rearview camera, and Teen Driver. The base model also features 16-inch alloy wheels, exterior power mirrors, and proximity keyless entry. Add the Driver Confidence package for rear-seat alert and rear parking assist.

RS

The RS updates the LS trim with a rear spoiler, dual-outlet exhaust, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Body-color power outside mirrors, a black grille with chrome surround, front and rear black bowtie emblems, and 18-inch aluminum wheels are also standard on this sporty model. You can get an enhanced version of the Driver Confidence package that adds lane change alert with side blind zone assist.

LT

This Malibu trim drops the rear spoiler but adds dual-zone auto climate control, satellite radio, remote start, and heated front seats. It’s also available with several option packages, including the Redline Edition, the Midnight Edition, and the Sport Edition. The LT has 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated exterior mirrors, and LED daytime running lamps.

If you want to give this trim a distinctive look, you can choose from a few special wheel styles. Options include 16-inch aluminum wheels, 18-inch bright machined aluminum wheels with Lunar Gray pockets, and 19-inch black-painted aluminum wheels with or without red hash accents. Other available appearance features include a blacked-out grille, black mirror caps, and a black and red Malibu badge.

2LT

With the top-of-the-line 2023 Malibu, you’ll enjoy wireless charging, an extra USB port, an upgraded nine-speaker Bose stereo, an 8-inch digital gauge, and a power-adjustable passenger seat. It also has ventilated front seats and exclusive perforated leather upholstery.

You can upgrade the 2LT with any of the packages from the lower trims. It’s also the only Malibu to offer the Driver Confidence and Cruise package, which has automatic parking assist and adaptive cruise control.
