Four Trim Levels

The Equinox begins with the LS trim level, equipped with Chevy Safety Assist and teen driver technology. Then there is the LT, which improves the driver’s seat with power controls and power lumbar controls. The RS makes things more interesting with a power liftgate operated by touching a button. Additionally, the RS trim level adds front and rear park assist technology that makes driving in the city a lot easier.

The Premier is the top trim level. It also adds a liftgate. This trim level gets a hands-free gesture liftgate that opens and closes by sensing the key fob. The driver can also open the liftgate by placing their foot under the rear bumper.

Available Editions

The LS trim level has an available Midnight Edition. The Midnight Edition adds 18-inch all-season tires, body-color mirror caps, and a unique mold-in-color black grille. It also adds front and rear black bowtie emblems to the Equinox.

The top-tier trim level has an available Redline Edition. Adding the Redline Edition to the Premier offers drivers a Redline-specific black grille and a black headliner. Additional features include 19-inch black wheels with red accents and black center caps. There are also 19-inch all-season tires, front and rear black bowtie emblems, and Redline decals on the exterior mirrors.

Cargo Space

The available power liftgate opens to a cargo area with a maximum of 63.9 cubic feet of volume. This is achieved by folding down the second-row split-bench seats. There is also a hidden storage space under the rear cargo floor.

The available cargo package adds a vertical cargo net for easy organization. It also adds a retractable cargo shade to keep your space cooler and hidden from view.

Infotainment

The Equinox comes equipped with a seven-inch touchscreen as standard on the LT, LS, and RS. The Premier trim level comes with an eight-inch touchscreen. Both screens come with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Bluetooth technology. The system comes with a six-speaker sound system.

Safety Assist Technology

Chevy Safety Assist is standard on all trim levels. This includes a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, and automatic emergency braking. Additionally, Chevy Safety Assist includes automatic high beams and lane keep assist. A rearview camera is standard.

There are some available additional technologies like HD surround vision, a lane change alert, and a rear cross-traffic alert. Drivers can also add adaptive cruise control.
